Purchasing Power one of Atlanta’s fastest growing e-retailers is seeking a Director of Vendor Compliance & Supply Chain Systems to join our Supply Chain team in Atlanta, GA. Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain, The Director of Vendor Compliance and Supply Chain Systems will beresponsible for the end to end vendor compliance strategy and design and implementation of improved Supply Chain systems to improveinternal efficiencies and enable broader Merchandising capabilities while creating end to end Supply Chain transparency.

Job Details – What you’ll do

  • Develop vendor compliance strategy to improve performance metrics and drive customer experience and revenue generation
  • Management of vendor compliance, ensuring vendors are held accountable and compliance adherence is reported on a standard basis
  • Support implementation of best in class systems capabilities (OMS) to ensure end2end supply chain transparency, order lifecycle management, full reconciliation and improved merchandising capabilities
  • Create, foster and manage strong cooperative relationships with all departments within the organization and with external vendor partners
  • Implement industry best practices into our existing outsourcing delivery models to drive internal process improvements, enable closer vendor management and improve customer experience
  • Support vendor facing meetings to position PPC as best in class vendor partner
  • Successful onboarding and management of new vendors
  • Develop high performance mindset within team
  • Promote customer centricity within team and the whole organization


  • Master’s degreerequired and/or equivalent experience in business management
  • Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in relevant environment
  • 7+ years of people management experience in progressively growing role(s)
  • Experience in retail, ecommerce (B2C/ D2C), drop-shipment environments is a must
  • Experience with operation or redesign of retail systems in partnership with IT departments is a must (OMS, ERP)
  • Broad supply chain & sourcing understanding
  • Leading during time of ambiguity is a must
  • Strong understanding of supply chain cost and accounting principles is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced environment
  • Work independently – self-starter
  • Analytical mindset, fact-based decision maker
  • Strong track record of negotiation skills with value outcomes.
