This Director provides leadership to managers and staff who drivetechnologyarchitecture,network solutions,engineering, development, deployment, and operations of US business initiatives. 


In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Build tactical 24-month Infrastructure roadmap across Architecture, Network/Infrastructure, and Security
• Oversee strategic 3 – 5 year roadmap for US restaurant infrastructure, security, and identity management
• Manage the team and overall portfolio of projects to delivery against the technology roadmaps and commitments
• Engage directly with US IT and US Franchisee’s to ensure delivery of solutions
• Maintain productive relationships with various stakeholder groups including US Franchisee’s,
internal Senior Leadership and Restaurant Technology Board members
• Various communication responsibilities which include prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annually at Restaurant Technology Review Board
• Oversee critical vendor management, partnerships, governance, and contracts
•Financial management of budgets across the project and contractportfolio

Minimum Requirements


• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 10 years of experience in managing multiple complex projects in a large enterprise IT infrastructure environment
• 8 years in managing one of the following (experience in all desired):
o Enterprise architecture
o Infrastructure engineering (Network focus)
o Outsourced infrastructure operations
o Program management (Infrastructure focus)
o Security operations 
• 8 years responsibility coaching, mentoring, and developing technical teams
• 8 years demonstrated ability balancing costs, risks, and schedule- - overall financial management
• 5 years with vendor and contract management


• Extensive experience in defining and executing strategies and approaches around infrastructure technologies
• Experience with SD–WAN / SDN, MPLS, 4G wireless, IoT, Active Directory, PCI Compliance, Endpoint Security
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders including senior leadership, Franchisee’s and IT staff
• Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines and manage related risks.
