The Director of Treasury Services shall serve as a member of AvMed’s leadership team in addition to having responsibility for developing, implementing and managing the treasury strategies, and related policies and procedures for SantaFe HealthCare, Inc. and each of its affiliates. Specifically, this position is responsible for: ensuring adherence to Board approved investment policies; setting asset allocation investment strategies; regulatory compliance pertaining to SFHC’s investment portfolios; investment accounting (GAAP and SAP); investment portfolio performance; managing relationships with external investment managers, advisors, and banking partners; cash management programs; cash-flow forecasting; assisting in the negotiation of financing transactions; monitoring debt covenant compliance, etc.
The success of the Director of Treasury Services will be measured by his/her ability to lead the critical Treasury Service functions in realizing AvMed’s service philosophy, “We create peace of mind by inspiring confidence and building trust through everything we do” and aligned with the following guiding principles:

KEY REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Director of Treasury Services shall exhibit strong executive presence and leadership, and strategic and financial acumen under a direct reporting relationship to the:
• Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of SantaFe HealthCare, Inc.
The following members of the Treasury Department team shall report to the Director of Treasury Services:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS
Treasury Leadership – Overall responsibility and accountability for the Treasury Department’s leadership and performance. Serve as a strategic and tactical advisor to the SFHC Senior Vice President & CFO. Work in collaboration with other members of the SFHC and Affiliates leadership teams to achieve the mission, strategic and operational objectives of SFHC and each of its Affiliates. Serve as a member of AvMed’s Leadership Team, in addition to participating on SFHC’s Retirement Plans Administrative and Investment Committees, and other Committees as assigned.
Strategic Orientation – Actively participate in the development and execution of strategic and operating plans across all Affiliates, including analysis and development of short-term and long-term cash, investment and capital plans and forecasts, while defining measures of success in achieving financial strategies.
Tactical Orientation – Engage Treasury Department staff and others to achieve tactical objectives, including but not limited to:
– Leading, organizing, planning, and evaluating all treasury functions across SFHC and its Affiliates to achieve best practices, including: cash and liquidity management, investment management, banking and custody relationships, financing and capital management, governance and regulatory compliance, treasury systems, etc.;
– Documenting all Treasury Department policies and procedures while ensuring an effective and efficient internal control environment that serves to mitigate risks and promotes operational performance;
– Monitoring and reporting compliance with debt covenants, Board approved investment policies, and pertinent regulatory guidelines;
– Building and maintaining positive and mutually beneficial relationships with key constituencies inside and outside the organization;
– Assessing strategies and managing initiatives to maximize return on cash and investments; and
– Creating a work environment that engages staff in the mission, interests and priorities of SFHC and each of its Affiliates.
Leadership Development – Responsible for the development and management of Treasury Department staff, including establishing a leadership climate that contributes to a high performance, highly engaged team that is committed to AvMed’s Vision, Mission and Values.
Community and Industry Involvement - Participate in appropriate civic, professional and industry related organizations and functions.
Other - Perform other related duties as the Senior Vice President & CFO shall require.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITICAL SKILLS
Mission Driven - Alignment with the AvMed mission, culture and values (CARES) of Collaboration, Accountability, Respectfulness, Ethical behavior and Service-driven.
Certification & Education – Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study is required, with an advanced degree in Management, Business Administration or equivalent preferred. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation highly preferred.
Experience - Minimum of ten (10) years treasury related experience (i.e., investment management, banking or related experience), including experience in leadership roles.
