The communications function is a key role within Cambridge Associates’ Global Business Development group, which is responsible for growing, developing, and retaining the firm’s client base.
The Director – Thought Leadership Content will be a critical member of the marketing strategy team, which is responsible for driving marketing strategy and execution for Cambridge Associates’ private client and pension practices. Reporting to the managing director of strategic marketing for private clients and pensions, this individual will be a lead contributor to the creation of thought leadership, editorial process, and brand building efforts. This position requires significant interaction with the private client and pension practice leadership, subject matter experts, business development colleagues, in-house research and publishing partners, and members of senior management. The position calls for a thoughtful and creative individual with excellent writing and editing skills, a sound understanding of marketing strategies and principals, strong project management and interpersonal skills, and some knowledge of institutional investment management and/or wealth management markets.
With the goals of raising brand awareness and differentiating Cambridge Associates as an investment leader to private clients and pensions worldwide, the Director will be a lead contributor to external communications strategy, including development and implementation of each practice’s thought leadership agenda, and creation of communications content.
