  • This position will be responsible for the strategic technology roadmap of CE's content editorial platforms across all product lines.

  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • ▪ Become the company expert on workflows, features, functionality, and requirements related to our editorial platform technology and operations processes
  • ▪ Develop and drive a platform and technology vision through a comprehensive understanding of requirements from editorial, engineering, innovation, and external product sources
  • ▪ Assemble platform requirements from multiple sources and communicate requirements to product development to achieve rapid deployment and adoption of the software
  • ▪ Manage a small team of business analysts
  • ▪ Analyze, model, optimize, document and implement business processes and process flows, information and information flows and business rules
  • ▪ Work with stakeholders to identify gaps and to analyze application/system benefits to business
  • ▪ Ensures that requirements are implemented in the final product
  • ▪ Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with high and low level non-technical stakeholders as well as technical development teams in a global environment
  • ▪ Write high quality requirements documents, data models, functional requirements, and user stories
  • ▪ Write high quality user personas, use cases, and problem statements

  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education:
  • ▪ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience:
  • ▪ 10+ years of experience in a technical role supporting systems and staff of a content management or editorial system
  • ▪ Proficiency in Business Process and Process Flow Analysis
  • ▪ Experience with Data Model design
  • ▪ Well versed in Product Architecture and Design Best Practices
  • ▪ Experience with SaaS/Cloud-based products
  • ▪ Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • ▪ Conflict management skills including the ability to work with and resolve conflicting needs and requirements
  • ▪ Ability to analyze data and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats
  • ▪ Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize in the face of multiple project demands focus on critical details
  • ▪ Ability to form relationships across functional areas including content, engineering and technology, product management, sales, service, and operations
  • ▪ Possess a sense of accountability and pride for delivering on time, on budget with expected quality
  • ▪ Customer focus and service orientation
  • ▪ Analytical, problem solving and communication skills (written and oral)
  • ▪ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
