Essential Responsibilities

· Review and monitor all Flight, Airport and Technical Operations Training curricula for quality, compliance, and courseware development, delegating specific tasks and functions to the appropriate manager

· Monitor all Flight, Airport and Technical Operations Instructor training for quality, compliance, and adherence to JetBlue Standard Operating Procedures, delegating specific tasks and functions to the appropriate manager

· Oversee all training functions for Flight, Airport and Technical Operations

· Oversee all record keeping and learning systems functions for JetBlue University

· Lead annual Flight, Airport Training and Technical Operations Training budgeting process and provides oversight for budget management throughout the year

· In partnership with the Flight, Airport and Technical Operations on all matters concerning training, standard operating procedures and staffing and actively participate in recruitment process for JetBlue University

· Work with several JetBlue business partners on purchases and services related to Crewmember training

· Oversee daily operation of the Orlando Support Center including maintenance of simulators, training devices and cabin trainers

· Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support the engagement, growth, goal achievement

· Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field

· Seven (7) years aviation operations experience

· Two (2) years aviation management experience

· Two (2) years aviation training experience

· Current Airline Transport Pilot License

· Previous experience using Microsoft Office Suite software programs and Adobe Acrobat software

· Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite

· Exceptional leadership skills

· Excellent verbal, people and written communications skills

· In depth knowledge of Part 121 Flight, Technical Operations and Airport Aviation Regulations

· Available for occasional overnight and international travel (25%)

· In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States

· Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

· Current JetBlue pilot

Crewmember Expectations:

· Regular attendance and punctuality

· Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice

· Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance

· When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

· Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun

· Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue's Safety Management System

· Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards

· Identify safety and security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) and Safety Action Report (SAR))

· Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls * Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
