This position provides the enterprise with a clear understanding of product performance and competitiveness, and gathers and utilizes market performance from sources internally and externally, generating insights to drive awareness and product enhancement throughout the enterprise value chain.

The Director, Market Performance Engineering and Analytics is responsible for guiding and informing the enterprise and external individual/business partners in product performance throughout the product life cycle, including the use of fact-based analysis and decision making in evaluating market feedback and serving as a voice for the customer; making decisions which affect overall company actions; and translating functional vision into plans and guiding their execution. This position's impact is on medium to long-term departmental goals and is accountable for departmental results that will impact the entire function, and will have full people management accountability, including resourcing and exit decisions. This position has regular interaction with executive level employees; is required to convey complex information and persuade several diverse stakeholders/audiences frequently; develops recommendations to promote and implement ideas or services; and frequently advises others on complex matters.


* Oversee product evaluations and documentation of performance

* Oversee the analysis of market intelligence into relevant business insight

* Manage a group of teammates through training, coaching, and guidance of project work

* Establish detailed budget plans and execute monthly controls

* Communicate effectively externally and across all enterprise levels

* Develop activities improving efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes

* Work collaboratively in a cross-functional/matrix environment

* Create and deliver executive presentations


* Bachelor's degree in business, math, engineering or science

* At least 10 years of related experience Or * Master's degree in business, math, engineering or science

* Demonstrated career progression in developing technical expertise to leading a group of technical experts

* Strong analytical and statistical skills

* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
