Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition, the Global Director of Recruiting plays a key role in leading a robust talent acquisition strategy for the the GRC Division with a focus on technology, sales and high-volume customer service talent. The successful candidate will be a proven, innovative leader who is experienced in cultivating a talent pipeline for our global businesses, drives results and navigates change. The position will collaborate and influence leaders to partner proactively in the identification and acquisition of talent. The position offers the opportunity to work across multiple industry sectors and countries to ensure hiring top talent is a systematic business process and supports the employer value proposition internally and in the marketplace.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Global Talent Acquisition leadership team, contribute to the overall Wolters Kluwer business strategy and initiatives. The position will manage and develop a team of recruiters.
Partner with the VP, Talent Acquisition, the GRC HR team and divisional business leaders to develop the strategic recruiting plan for the GRC division. The Director will lead a recruiting team to execute the recruiting plan against meaningful goals and objectives / performance scorecard for recruiters agreed upon by the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership (GTA) team.
Develops effective working relationships with the GRC HR team and divisional business leaders establishing credibility as a talent acquisition domain expert.
Plans, develops, and directs strategic recruiting and employment programs at the GRC division level (aligned to Corporate Wolters Kluwer) to include employee referral initiatives, diversity and campus recruiting. Works with divisional management to understand current and future workforce needs and develops improvements to processes that include strategic sourcing, pipeline development, assessment and selection.
Create and implement ideas for improving the talent acquisition outcomes focused on continuous improvement. Develops and implements creative sourcing strategies focus on attracting diverse candidate pools that are “best in class/best fit” for the GRC divisional hiring demand. Oversee efforts to strengthen our diversity recruiting strategy across GRC.
Directly owns leading the searches on critical key roles for the GRC division as needed and appropriate. With VP HR, HRBPs and business unit leaders, assess critical success factors as agreed to by Division customer units and provides accurate data/insights for ROI clarification for headcount additions or replacements; documents approved and collective hiring needs into a capacity and timing plans.
Partner with GTA and the Corporate and Divisional Communications teams on Employer Branding strategies. Will partner to build, develop and maintain marketing materials and other collateral content for recruiting project.
Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of Wolters Kluwer products and its differentiators to effectively serve clients by researching and reviewing existing documentation to develop subject matter expert level knowledge of the division (e.g. organizational structure, products, strategy).
Stays current with regard to competition and organizational changes (acquisitions, reorganizations, new product offerings, etc) as well as industry and technical trends that may impact hiring strategies and needs.
Oversees the development and management of the GRC division recruiting budget. Ensures compliance in the hiring process with all regulatory/legal requirements and company policies in the hiring process, including EEO tracking and good faith recruiting.
A minimum of 10 years experience recruiting with 3 years at a management level with a demonstrated track record of success creating and executing a results-driven recruiting strategy within a fast-moving, highly dynamic global technology and/or software and solutions company.
Substantive experience and obvious continued passion for performing all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle successfully to include needs assessment, research, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate assessment, relationship building and candidate closure/on-boarding in the US, Europe and Asia geographies.
Experience leading global executive search assignments.
Demonstrated record of developing meaningful, actionable KPIs and metrics that can be used to optimize the process, technology, and resources of the organization as well as make use of candidate and client feedback.
Experience working successfully within a global, matrix organization with multiple product lines and a complex organizational structure.
BS/BA from an accredited college or university with a focus on business, marketing, communications or related is required; MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology or Human Resources Development or MBA strongly preferred.
