The Talent Acquisition Leader is responsible for attracting, finding and acquiring high quality diverse talent for the organization. This function includes: Development of our short to mid-term operational strategy; Talent evaluation and screening (assessing skills, testing, ranking, reference checking, etc.); Job advertising and posting internally and externally, including third party recruiting agencies; Talent prospecting at employment fairs and on campus at educational institutions; Talent staffing and planning; Managing new employee induction process.

  • Leads a team of six talent advisors and recruiters in the process of recruiting and onboarding 700 hires a year using the Workday’s ATS Module. Internal and external hires spans from entry to executive level hires
  • Leads all projects involving the Talent Acquisition (TA) process and coordinates support across all departments of HR
  • Manages the TA budget annually and coordinates and maintain all vendors associated with the TA process
  • Develops and maintains all policies associated with hiring with the help and guidance of our “Of Counsel” and the HR Leadership Team
  • Works collaboratively with the Diversity & Inclusion Manager to train and integrate diversity best practices into the recruiting model at all levels of the company
  • Works collaboratively with the Operations Director on defining and executing the company Affirmative Action Plan, on-boarding and reporting for the TA team
  • Works collaboratively with the Compensation Director on compensation guidelines and upkeep of all job profiles to maintain a current strategy with the marketplace
  • Provides analysis and strategic consultation to the VP, Talent Acquisition, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer on major issues or trends affecting the organization
  • Provides weekly reporting to the HR leadership on the state of hires and recruiting and maintains reports on cost of hire and recruiter performance
  • Consults with Executives and leaders across the company to design and inform talent planning based on market and external talent availability
  • Coordinates special projects on behalf of the VP, Talent Acquisition, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, frequently involving Senior Executives of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced professional with Talent Acquisition experience in a mid-size to large company
  • Solid background in project management and implementation of major initiatives
  • Proven track record in delivering business results, overcoming obstacles, and achieving critical milestones
  • Strong aptitude for relationship management across all levels of the organization; High degree of organizational astuteness and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; A strong sense of collaboration, facilitation, and teamwork
  • Ability to think strategically and perform analytical and research projects or requests
  • Action-oriented leader, able to effectively solve problems and achieve goals
  • Demonstrated track record in team building and motivation, effective cross-functional management and alliance building
  • Effective consensus building, negotiation skills with an ability to influence negotiation relationships with business partners
  • Ability to balance tactical perspective with the ability to manage strategic direction
  • Flexibility to work within a changing environment
  • Knowledge of the changing demographics of talent and technological tools to support for prospecting

Education/experience:

  • HR professional with minimum of seven years of recruiting and management experience
  • BA/BS degree required
