The Company is headquartered in Katy, Texas and has offices in Reno, Nevada and Chicago, Illinois.

The Director of Supply Chain will have functional responsibility for all aspects of supply chain management for the Special Minerals business including S&OP, demand planning, freight and logistics management, procurement, supply chain strategy and overall network design. The Director of Supply Chain will serve on the Specialty Minerals Leadership Team.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and lead the planning process for Specialty Minerals including capacity planning, inventory management and optimization of production cycles

Lead all logistics activities for the Specialty Minerals business including rail, trucking and collaborating with the Director-Logistics on rail freight, transloading and related items

Responsible for Order-to-Cash process for Specialty Minerals, including pricing, order management and customer service improvement

Develop and deploy the Cost Improvement Program for Specialty Minerals Supply Chain

Build and implement strategies to support Specialty Minerals growth including collaborating with operations on capacity expansion / site selection and developing supply chain network solutions (routes-to-market, warehousing, transloading, etc.)

Serve as the functional leader/representative on the Specialty Minerals Leadership Team

Additional duties as assigned

Manager with Direct Reports (Responsible for Hiring, Discipline, Training, Performance, etc.)

Required Education, Experience, Skills:

Bachelors' Degree - Business or Engineering

MBA Preferred

10+ years' experience in progressive roles throughout supply chain and operations, including multiple of the following: Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Plant Operations, Network Optimization

Excellent numerate skills and strong financial acumen

Excellent executive presence, presentation and communication skills

Demonstrated strategic thinking skills including experience developing and implementing functional strategies

Strong systems thinking capability – able to quickly analyze and solve complex problems with multiple variables

Strong leadership and influencing skills including.
