Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Talent Solutions, the Strategic Talent Management and Development Director will lead a team of 13 talent management and development professionals. The role will involve partnering with leaders to determine talent priorities based on business strategy and providing deep expertise in the areas of leadership, consulting, market intelligence and analytics. Specific responsibilities will include designing new talent management tools and programs, implementing a global strategy for employee and leadership development, identifying talent priorities through research and analysis of HR and organizational data and the ongoing execution of an executive assessment program. This group will also work directly with leaders as well as internal HR partners to designother interventions to address critical talent needs and better position the organization for the future. In the near-term there will be a particular emphasis on Leadership Development, including launching and sustaining new programs to create and sustain a strong leadership bench for the future.
Advanced degree in organizational psychology, industrial engineering, education or related field.
10 or more years of experience in areas such as leadership development, talent management, selection and assessment, executive assessment, human resources technology, corporate training, instructional design, and digital learning
Demonstrated ability to integrate, align and execute strategy, people and talent development activities in a fast paced, global collaborative environment with a commitment to innovation and excellence.
Demonstrated capability in leadership, project management, communication, learning management, and program implementation.
Align talent management and development strategy with emerging leadership and business challenges.
Create a strategy for global learning and talent development ensuring the effective use and leverage of systems, strategic outsourcing of selected instructional design and development services, and incorporation of innovative and best practices in learning and development.
Develop cutting edge blended learning solutions adaptable for the enterprise applying best practices, measurable effectiveness and ensuring global implementation considerations are embedded.
Provide oversight and direction for strategic talent analytics, including identifying key business opportunities, identifying areas of the company with the greatest opportunities to prioritize resources, and linking talent metrics (e.g., engagement) to business success and turnover
Build and sustain assessment programs for selection and development (e.g., psychological testing, leadership and management simulations, 360s, etc.).
Spearhead the development of experiential learning tools, including career maps and accompanying guidance, and other tools to accelerate the growth and succession readiness of high potential associates.
Provide thought leadership across the realm of talent management to design new programs or initiatives consistent with business strategy
Capitalize on the intellectual horsepower of HR to drive and deliver talent development and talent management tools and programs, and integrate initiatives into the business cycle and ensure sustainability
Foster cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, and emphasize the rigorous measurement of impact, as well as continuous improvement.
