Essential Functions

  • Coordinates and manages the BioPharm business planning process and output, including design of the planning template, communication of time lines and milestones, and progress updates to BioPharm Senior Leadership
  • Aligns with BioPharm Sales Leadership, Brand Teams and Market Access teams to translate national direction and drive effective local implementation
  • Implements BioPharm Marketing strategy, drives standardization and provides guidance to Field Sales leadership to ensure BioPharm objectives are met
  • Creates BioPharm Business Rules and provides oversight to the development and timely execution of the My Target List process, the resulting Call Plan, and the Incentive Compensation plan
  • Liaises with key stakeholders around plan of action (POA) content to ensure alignment with portfolio and brand strategies
  • Oversees BioPharm POA strategy and agenda to ensure alignment and seamless execution of Marketing strategy and tactics at the National, Regional, and Territory levels
  • Facilitates Compliance training for the BioPharm Sales and Marketing teams as required to ensure alignment with policies and working instructions and enhance quality
  • Oversees the development of goals for the BioPharm Sales and Marketing teams to align priorities across Department functions and increase individual accountability for results
  • Partners with BioPharm leadership team and Training stakeholders to identify opportunities for skill enhancement across BioPharm team. Collaborates to secure and deliver training to address gaps and advance business competencies
  • Manages and coordinates all BioPharm Senior Leader requests for data and analysis across all functional areas. Partners effectively to procure, develop or request critical reports that enable Field Sales Leadership to identify trends, challenges and business opportunities
  • Collects and consolidates Departmental inputs and updates to facilitate effective use by BioPharm Senior Leadership
  • Acts as a liaison and manages all Sales and Marketing-related Home Office communication with the Field. Serves as a conduit from the field into the Home Office
  • Provides leadership to ensure effective teamwork and transparency between Field and Home Office functions are maximized
  • Coordinates efficient execution of ad-hoc projects, leveraging both internal and external resources as needed
  • Embraces the Novo Nordisk Way and serves as a role model in actions

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degreerequired; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of sales, sales management, marketing, or sales/marketing operations experience in pharmaceuticals or biopharmaceutical experiencerequired
  • Project management experiencepreferred
  • A strong understanding of pharmaceuticals or biopharmaceuticals and market dynamics required
  • Ability to operationalize marketing tools and resources to drive business results
  • Influence, negotiation skills, and relationships management capabilities required
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, execute and follow up in a timely manner while anticipating issues and roadblocks required
  • Sharp attention to detail and confidence to produce flawless deliverables for senior leaders required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills critical for conveying clear and concise information to the Field Sales teams, internal and external customers and senior leaders
