The Director, Strategic Partnerships is an East Region role based in New York that will sit alongside all Sales, Client Services and Specialist Sales teams to help with pre and post-sale functions with the aim of activation and driving incremental revenue across Investment, Strategy, and ATD within the Publicis HoldCo. They will be responsible for liaising with appropriate internal and external teams to ensure training, onboarding, performance, product alignment and developing relationships. A key component of the role is effective communication from the Publicis Holding company to key stakeholders in the East Region to ensure consistency across Sales, CS and PS teams. The Director will also fill in technical knowledge gaps within sales teams nationally and will report to the VP of Strategic Partnerships in New York.
Work with and own non account based internal relationships. Supporting regional Amobee sales teams who own account specific campaign management, strategy, analytics, product and media teams.
Own Amobee product roadmap alignment with Investment, Strategy and ATD priorities and needs.
Own QBRs, product meetings, technical RFI’s.
Provide Investment, Strategy and ATD business context and Platform expertise to help regional sales teams pitch and win new business.
Assist with pitches by speaking to overall Publicis relationship and traction.
Partner closely with regional sales/client service to implement playbooks/plans to prospect, win, and grow new business. Provide strategic planning and expertise on major accounts, in coordination with Client Services teams.
Co hosts client education and entertainment events by region.
Facilitates ongoing training with sales teams and PS team. Streamlines communications between Client Services & Sales.
Escalates all Client Services & Sales team campaign challenges / issues to VP Strategic.
Partnerships team for executive action and needs.
Assist with navigation nuances of ATD / Agency / Brand / Vendor relations.
Manager/Director with one person reporting in, big opportunity to expand the team.
5-10 years of agency relationships calling on ATD/Holding company levels.
3-5 years of strategic platform sales background (preferably in digital advertising).
Broadcast/Video experience preferred.Consultative background is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of the competitive landscape in ad tech industry.
A proven track record of closing large deals ($3M – $5M+).
Extensive network in the New York and wider East coast region.
Travel up to 30%.
Industry Knowledge; DSP/DMP/Programmatic landscape w. a general understanding of TV
Deep TV knowledge is a plus, but can be taught
Knowledge of HoldCo politics & decision making across the HoldCos, w. specific relationships at Publicis
