The Director of Store Operations, Victoria’s Secret Lingerie (VSL) influences business unit executives to develop executional strategies that align with store objectives and priorities to drive sales growth, loyalty, and Best At categories. 

• Establishes and aligns Store Operations agenda with VSL objectives

• Leads Store Operations business priorities as necessary

• Builds and maintains necessary partnerships with business unit leaders and cross-functional partners to effectively influence decisions based on our internal and external customer’s perspective and experience

• Influences decision making that enhances the Brand and delivers the best Customer experience in stores

• Owns implementation of critical in store strategies to support and drive execution, behaviors and fitting room experience

• Forward thinking and accurately anticipates, growth, opportunities and risks in the VSL business and develops effective responses and action plans with speed

• Contributes to various critical executive meetings to represent stores and customers to influence and/ or validate thinking and actions

• Identify emerging trends and opportunities to define changes in process and procedures to drive product, sales, operational efficiencies, and behavior

• Prioritizes VSL workload and influences cross-functionally to ensure impact on store is profitable, achievable and fits into the Master Store Operations Calendar

• Advises field leaders on key VSL strategies, seeks feedback, input and partnership to inform and influence future planning, strategies and execution

• Leads Field Champion roles to support product, pricing, and behavioral insights for the Brand

• Acts and applies the lens of a Store Manager, District Manager and Regional Manager at all times

• Attract, select, retain and develop top talent and create a culture that makes Victoria’s Secret the best place to work

• Oversees customer events and activities in relation to VSL with cross-functional partners,  VSL operations content development and editing process of Sales Education and Best at Bra tools

• Provides education to Merchants and Marketing partners on overall store operating efficiencies through strong, trust-based relationships

• Supports operational testing efforts (i.e. Compliment, Labor, Merchandise Flow, Shrink, etc.)

• Oversees the execution and analysis of field surveys to identify qualitative insights and immediate action items

• Develops innovative strategies to drive top line sales through new product launches

• Drives operations and selling agendas in sub-brand by identifying trends, opportunities and defining changes in process and procedures

• Conducts market research to benchmark other specialty retailers and industry leaders to understand standards and trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or 8- 10 years’ of retailexperience • 5+ years in a leadership role • Experience in successfully leading and implementing large-scale change, process improvements, and innovations • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective business partnerships • Proven track record of successfully supporting the needs of multiple business units with competing priorities • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and have a strong attention to detail • Ability to recognize the broad implications of issues and challenges identify potential solutions and move with agility and sense of urgency • Ability to communicate and influence effectively with all levels inside and outside the organization • Proven organizational skills – able to manage multiple demands with competing priorities and allocate time effectively • Ability to analyze situations; resolve issues with innovation and creativity; develop processes for all operations functions • Proficient in MS Office • TRAVEL: Flexibility to travel an average of 2-8 days a month
