BASIC PURPOSE: Lead team and work in close collaboration with executive stakeholders from across the corporation, to deliver overall financial goals for the company by driving the merchandising, content, and site testing and personalization strategy for the end-to-end guest experience on NCL global sites (currently 15 sites and 12 languages). Focus on elevating the online brand presentation globally and accurately set guest expectations for the cruise experience on Norwegian Cruise Line.
Provide leadership and strategic direction to increase overall channel effectiveness of the global consumer websites to maximize online bookings, pre-cruise transactions, lead capture, and overall revenue.
Utilize web analytics, customer feedback and A/B testing methodologies to continuously improve the online customer experience to create a best-in-class experience for our guests, elevating our brand, and meeting business objectives.
Manage all content management activities on global websites to accurately set guest expectations for the cruise experience on Norwegian Cruise Line by working collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization.
Accountable for organic search (SEO) performance globally.
Provide digital marketing thought leadership and insight to Senior Leadership team.
Responsible for all aspects of personnel management (e.g., hiring, training and development, etc.) her/his direct reports and overall team.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, e-commerce, Computer Science or related field of study; or any combination of relevant education and work experience.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years of experience managing high-performance Business-to-Consumer e-commerce platform(s) and leading a high growth team. Knowledge of online travel or cruise industry a plus.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Must possess a combination of strategy and execution skills at the enterprise level. This role requires that the candidate have a proven track record of leading teams that grow online conversions, revenue and leads. Significant understanding CMS Platforms, Web Analytics, and Site Optimization tools and technology. The candidate must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to drive results independently. Proven success with collaboration between cross functional teams around the world. Must work well under pressure with limited direction and documentation.
