Description The role reports to the Sr. Director, Accounting M&A Integration and will primarily be responsible for leading and developing the Accounts Payable and Payroll functions for RealPage. The Sr. Director, Accounting – M&A integration is responsible for managing and coordinating acquisition integration activities across the CAO's organization which includes Revenue Operations, Payroll, Accounts Payable and General Ledger Activities.


  • Leading the Accounts Payable and Payroll teams which consist of approximately 15 individuals in North America and are supported by offshore capabilities
  • Leading and partnering with all non-US accounts payable and payroll managers to ensure the consistency and harmonization of processes and procedures globally and provide worldwide reporting and oversight of these functions and processes
  • Setting and facilitating the achievement of department objectives
  • Developing, implementing, improving, and enforcing processes, policies and procedures, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency, drive simplicity, and ensure adherence to company guidelines
  • Overseeing all departmental activities, such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure that they are completed accurately and executed in a timely manner
  • Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients and vendors
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management and government agencies


  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in managing shared services departments including process improvements and control design and implementation activities; offshore shared services management preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferable
  • Detailed knowledge of accounts payable and payroll activities and functions required
  • Excellent analytical skills along with verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish, develop, and maintain productive business relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with MS products and Visio
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work with developing processes and control environments
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities across multiple departments and workstreams
  • Self -starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Minimal travel may be required, less than 5%
