Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dir, Security.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for the overall management of the Security Department and parking services. Develops, implements, and continuously monitors the effectiveness of security policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School or GED. Current and valid NYS Security Guard License OR current and valid NYS Private Investigator s License. Current and valid NYS Driver’s License. Current and valid CPR certification. Current and valid Crisis Prevention/Intervention (CPI) certification within 6 months of Hire. Valid First-Aid training certificate or documented equivalent training evidence. 9-11 years Security and/or law enforcement operations. 3 – 5 years Supervisory or Management. 3 – 5 years Security operations in a Hospital or Healthcare related facility. Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Health (DOH), and National Fire Protection Administration (NFPA) related regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of fire apparatus and equipment. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Access. Working knowledge of a Photo ID machine.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree In a related field. Knowledge of Environment of Care (EOC) standards. Strong public speaking skills.
