Overall Purpose

The Sales Director leads, manages, coordinates the MicroPort CRM strategy and contributes to the success of the business in the assigned country/geography. The Sales Director has the strategic vision on how to develop the MicroPort CRM business, whether direct or distribution, in the assigned countries and at the same time, is focused on driving the right balance between the local needs along with the full Region needs as well as the International needs representing one MicroPort CRM.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Conducts oneself in a manner which ensures compliance with all standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines encompassed under the Customer Support work statement
  • Process requests received from customers and the sales teams including orders, returns, product movement, product pricing inquiries, data analysis/reporting and general customer account questions
  • Support RMS (Remote monitoring system)
  • Coordinate inventory movement in the field including trunk stock, consignment, and programming inventory to ensure case coverage needs based on sales needs and conduct inventory audits on a regular basis
  • Communicates with internal counterparts across the organization in such areas as Accounting, Quality, Supply Chain, Pricing & Contracts and the Sales teams
  • Facilitates the returned goods and credit processes related to customer product returns
  • Coordinate with global offices for all inter-company shipments and returns
  • Assists in the collection of informational or statistical data, supporting the creation and distribution of reports to customers, the sales teams, and Customer Support management
  • Obtains necessary information and data for accurate setup and maintenance of customer’s master record
  • Work in a collaborative fashion with Accounting and Pricing & Contract Management to identify and resolve customer pricing & payment discrepancies
  • Ensure on-going compliance across Quality & Financial systems with regard to all policies and procedures related to the Customer Support function


Skills Requirements

  • Must be Bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of the MicroPort CRM franchises and products is mandatory
  • Ability to lead growth vision and sales/marketing & operations strategy
  • Team oriented & ability to motivate and work well with diverse cultures and cross-functional teams is key to successfully fulfill the role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of managing relationships within a complex matrix environment

Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years experience in healthcare or medical sales/marketing, operations or related field, CRM experience preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; MBA Preferred
