As a Director, Sales, you will be responsible for growing sales, developing new business, account management and developing productive cross selling relationships across G4S Americas business units within the position's regional area of responsibility. This position will act as a trusted advisor in areas of organizational risk management including risk consulting, protective services and investigations to our clients. The position will oversee business unit business development function and implement strategy to ensure sales goals/budgets are met. This position will attend conferences and regional events to present on service offerings and consult as a subject matter expert as opportunities present themselves.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Grow sales in the market and develop productive cross/selling relationships with counterparts in other G4S business units
  • Develop CRS market outside of G4S client base
  • Respond on short notice Corporate Risk opportunities 24/7, as well as support Request for Proposal (RFP) responses within region
  • Attend regional conferences, ASIS and other industry related events; presenting on service offerings or subject matter expertise as opportunities present themselves
  • Manage current client accounts as well as progress further business development with existing clients


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Business or a related field

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate security, contract security or corporate risk services or equivalent military or law enforcement experience
  • Prior sales/business development experience

  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
