The Service Line director is accountable for the administrative leadership of assigned areas. The service line director has direct accountability for serving clinics across the organization and includes serving as the champion for one of the areas affinitized with the service line.
Working closely with executive leadership and the medical groups, the SL director is involved in business planning and program development including integration and optimization of patient care within and beyond the direct service line.
Requirements: Registered Nurse - State Licensure - RN; Bachelor's
Minimum 5 years proven leadership experience in large complex environment, driving change management
Experience in developing business and strategic plans.
Demonstrated understanding and experience in the use of lean to drive management and operational processes.
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and direct activities of clinical & non-clinical personnel.
Successful record in staff development and personnel management.
Effective, dynamic communicator (written/verbal); with ability to communicate sensitive/tough messages with tact and authenticity.
Proven ability to manage a complex environment and plan and execute new services’ facilities and operations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain service line clinical practice guidelines
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets
Demonstrated understanding and experience in the use of lean principles to drive management and operational processes (preferred).
Demonstrated understanding of the transition between strategic development and operational implementation.
Demonstrated team-building and consensus-seeking skills.
History of constructive and productive working relationships
Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
