Responsible for driving and supporting Exclusive Agents (EA) and other approved distribution partners on Corporate Life and Retirement Products that align to our mission and values; including: educational institutions (ex: Higher Ed, Private / Charter K-12, sole and multi provider K-12 Public), Traditional BCG, Section 125 / Supplemental Products, tax-exempt, governmental and other not-for-profit organizations, as well as for-profit companies (401(k)) that have a community service mission with less than $20M in assets.
By supporting sales strategies for the Exclusive Agents and other partners, drive new assets under management and revenue to Horace Mann through new and current corporate relationships.
Lead and facilitate coordinated efforts with Field Management, Field Sales Consultants, EA's and home office to ensure successful execution of all L and R Products.
Proactive sales support focusing on increased retirement deposits through conversions, rollovers and increased enrollments through sales strategies, event coordination and campaign rollouts.
Create various types of sales analysis, market intelligence and respond to new business opportunities
Partner with all Horace Mann lines to promote cross sell with a main goal of strengthening our client relationships and drive additional revenue to the organization.
Strong knowledge of Horace Mann products as well as the external market with an emphasis on Payroll Slot health (RA / Annuity), Section 125/Supplemental and Traditional BCG products.
Assist with the creation and/or delivery of all finalist presentations and increased enrollment/participation in our existing group products.
Position request for proposal (RFP) responses and follow-up with consultants.
Develop EA, consultants and key account relationships.
Partner with home office, field management and FSCs.
