In partnership with GMAC Research, define the research agenda and identify relevant topics for exploration.
Carryout analysis (both independently and in partnership) to translate findings into actionable insights that are relevant to a variety of segments (candidates, schools/industry, policymakers), and geographic markets in GME.
Integrate internal and external data points to communicate industry shifts and trends.
Create white papers, reports, articles and user-friendly content (web content, briefs, infographics and/or blogs) that leverage GMAC research and incorporates relevant external research as appropriate.
Manage research content creation and support (content production, information design and updates) for organizational newsletters, web properties, webinars, events, media inquiries, and other related dissemination vehicles.
Identify/define external channels, methods and strategies for research promotion and dissemination.
Prepare and deliver presentations for meetings and conferences and provide assistance inter- departmentally in integrating GMAC research into org wide presentations.
Provide input on survey research reports and questionnaire design.
Coordinate with corporate communications team in developing messaging strategy for press releases related to GMAC Research Services outputs.
Serve as a key contact for working with market development, and communications teams on outreach to increase school awareness of GMAC research.
Enhance GMAC’s connections with global industry associations by building a peer-to-peer relationship with researchers in these organizations and exploring and defining opportunities for shared strategic initiatives.
Maintain expertise in all aspects of graduate management education (GME), particularly developments in trends, values, attitudes, expectations and motivations of prospective and graduating students, GME alumni, schools, and employers involved in the GME industry.
Develop and implement a GMAC industry analysis strategy and plan with the aim of publishing in credentialed academic and business journals.

Master’s degree in a field related to Management, Economics, Journalism, Communications, International Relations, Education, Statistics or other research discipline.
7 years of demonstrating analysis, story crafting, writing or publications and content development work experience; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
Strong research background including experience in research methodology and design, statistical analysis and interpretation, research writing, and conducting presentations.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, focus, and pay attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to edit/prepare scholarly reports for a variety of audiences.
Demonstrated expertise in editing technical or dynamic reports, such as publications created with Adobe Flash/Flex programming.
Demonstrated ability to innovate and build programs from scratch.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
