Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees and directs the Human Resources function for the Business Line(s) and any other assigned entity, to include but not limited to employee relations, policy procedure administration, management training and benefit administration. Serves as a resource and advocate to management and staff. Supervises HR Staff.


RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Assists HRG's and HRM's in their development as HR professionals.


2. Works daily with HR staff to assist with various HR issues/concerns.


3. Creates and conducts presentations on HR topics.


4. Develops relationships with management and employees in the line of business supported.


5. Works with Vice President of HR on strategies for retention and recruitment of GRS and RHS Staff.


6. Creates a HR department that is viewed as fair, objective and confident.


7. A role model for HR staff, displaying professional and ethical behavior at all times.


8. Works with a positive attitude demonstrating teamwork and enjoyment for the job.


9. Exhibits honesty and integrity in all aspects of the job.

11. Performs other duties as assigned by VP of human resources.



QUALIFICATIONS:

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. A bachelor's of science degree is required. Preferably in business or human resources. A masters in human resources or SHRM certification preferred. 2. At least 6 years of experience in a Human Resource role. At least 3 years in a Management role.
