As LivePerson’s Director of Public Relations, you are responsible for the strategic planning and execution of media and analyst communications aligned with the company’s goals. You will collaborate with a world-class marketing team and work closely with our sales, technology, and executive teams to position the company as a global thought leader in conversational commerce and the use of AI in enhancing the consumer experience.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute public relations strategy, in conjunction with the marketing team, with the goal of showcasing the company as an industry leader to key audiences including media and industry analysts
  • Lead the development of key messages, press releases, bylines, case studies, and other marketing and sales collateral aligned with the company’s goals
  • Manage public relations agencies globally and streamline external communications across the company’s global offices
  • Prepare executives and oversee briefings with the media. Provide coaching and training as needed.
  • Manage media partnerships and identify relevant speaking opportunities for key executives
  • Develop and execute analyst program with key industry firms, including Gartner and Forrester, to validate the company’s position within the conversational commerce industry
  • Conduct and leverage consumer research to enhance media materials and develop newsworthy content
  • Develop an ongoing social media strategy and engage with key influencers
  • Manage and complete relevant award nominations for the company
  • Work on special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
  • Manage customer reference program to develop case studies.

You should be an expert in:

  • 6-8+ years international PR experience; agency experience a plus
  • Experience working in B2B communications, with technology experience preferred, and proven success in contributing to department and company goals
  • Excellent communication, writing and editing skills, strategic thinking, strong organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of social media and digital platforms including Cision, PR Newswire, etc.
  • Passion for working in technology, with strong interest in AI
  • Strong relationships with key media
  • Team player willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
