Job Functions

  • Leads the RollWorks product marketing function and works with product and sales teams to acquire new customers and be perceived as the category leader
  • Expert on our customers - who they are, how they buy and use our products, including where they get information and what drives their decision processes
  • Develops product branding/ naming, positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience and produces the source messaging blueprint
  • Owns the packaging and pricing framework to drive adoption and positive unit and segment economics
  • Enables direct sales teams to be successful through the creation of customer-facing content and sales enablement materials that trains them on the problems we solve for our buyers
  • Owns competitive analysis and develops training and materials to help sellers position and differentiate RollWorks from alternatives
  • Plans launches of new products and updated releases of existing products, managing the implementation of coordinated cross-functional high impact product launches
  • Contributes to strategic priorities for the business through market analysis, market sizing and segmentation analysis, customer research, win/loss interviews
  • Acts as a primary thought leader for RollWorks Account-Based Platform, including speaking engagements, written works, and briefings with analysts and influencers
  • Manages and mentors a team of Product Marketers ensuring high levels of growth, development, and employee engagement

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, 5+ years experience in product marketing
  • You thrive on building positioning and getting it right with target customers
  • Experience rolling out new products to a direct sales team and the interconnectedness of CRM and marketing automation systems
  • Ideally you have experience in ABM, B2B data, Predictive Analytics, or Sales Automation product categories
  • Strong preference for experience in a successful SaaS company going from 50 to 500 employees
  • You are a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer
  • You have attention to detail and an eye for quality, but also an appreciation for iterating and getting things done
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, and able to challenge product and sales teams to uncover internal or external blockages
  • Excellent people and management skills with 3-5+ years successfully leading a team through rapid growth
  • You understand the big picture and help unite others around doing the right thing for customers and long-term business objectives
  • BA/BS degree, MBA a plus
