The Director must have strong strategic, analytical and execution skills and be comfortable working with professionals at all levels within the organization as well as clients and prospects. S/he must be focused on understanding client segment needs and behavior in order to use marketing, sales enablement and pricing tools to sell new products successfully and penetrate new markets. Will also recommend and champion new product and innovation opportunities and new strategies as needed based on client segment and opportunity understanding.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
Role is a key leader with Lien Solutions and will help drive the success of a critical strategic growth initiative for Wolters Kluwer.
The director of core UCC marketing is responsible for growing the main~ $90MM UCC business and penetrating the unvended market segment with the new innovative line of Manage UCC products with $20MM in targeted growth in 2021.
The role includes developing go to market strategies, include new offers, pricing and packaging, messaging, sales enablement, market awareness and thought leadership,
Working with IT, CIOX and Sales, the director’s team will ensure targeted analytical risk assessments will be delivered to prospects to help market new UCC Manage products to build the business and will execute on sales enablement programs to drive growth.
Leads a go to market team and provides direct management and mentoring to team members.
Individual will work closely with Finance and Sales to track, understand and manage metrics and results against the Manage targets.
Works with Marketing execution, Client Service, IT, senior management and other business lines to drive revenues and growth of the business.
May be required to perform other related duties as required or assigned
College degree required; MBA preferred.
~10 years of related work experience.
Results oriented track-record driving business growth.
Strong experience with strategy, marketing and analytics.
Consulting experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to execute programs and complex projects leading people directly and through influence and negotiation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Executive-level presentation skills and ability to target messages and communicate to different audiences.
