Director, Product Management – Small Business Relationship Management

Capital One’s Small Business Relationship Management team is looking for an experienced Product leader to bring to life cutting edge tools that will enable our growing Sales teams. This platform will serve as the engine for sales and growth to come from our Field Sales organization across the country.

As the leader of this space, you will be able to prioritize and execute on a broad tech agenda – ranging from the definition of critical processes to timely delivery of core functionality and relevant controls supporting those processes to innovating on new, industry leading capabilities. This will be a key role on the Leadership Team with significant growth potential. You will lead a team made up of Product Owners and Process Managers, as well as work through cross functional teams, to develop and enhance the sales process overall as well as the technologies that support that process.

The ideal candidate will responsible for:

  • Partnering with multiple stakeholder teams to define the multiple processes and products required to support a growing sales team and then the products and tools that support those processes
  • Supporting the creation of a program wide roadmap to bring new and existing products on to the platform
  • Partnering with product, tech, and operations leadership to align on overall program priorities
  • Managing product, tech, and operational teams to deliver on prioritized platform intent
  • Establishing management processes to govern platform new feature grooming and delivery
  • Interfacing with executive stakeholders to coordinate prioritization tradeoffs and communicate regular program updates
  • Building business cases and proposed structure for platform improvements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience driving program strategy and organizational change
  • At least 5 years of People Management experience
  • At least 5 years of Process Management experience
  • At least 5 years Product Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Masters degree
  • At least 7 years of product management experience
