About the role:
Working with the Sr. Director Product andTechnology Management, Reference Labs, define and implement best practices for a world class product management team, with product management responsibility for one or moreproduct lines. This position isresponsible for long-term strategy of departmental products, customer loyalty to departmental offerings, and addressing departmental dissatisfiers and development of a world-class product management team. This position isresponsible for alignment of strategy, driving use of best product management practices that emphasize differentiation by department and ensuring our offerings emphasize scalable offerings, working with cross-functional resources to achieve operating plans for theproduct lines as part of the broader CAGportfolio and in conjunction with the General Manager of Lab Operations and the Director ofTechnology Operations. Worldwide strategic, revenue and management responsibility for one or moreproduct lines. This position isresponsible for long-term strategy, annual revenue and operating performance, customer loyalty, and development of a product management team. This position isresponsible for alignment of strategy and resources to achieve operating plans for theproduct lines as part of the broader CAGportfolio.
- Direct management of product marketing, matrix management responsibility for research and development, strategic and commercial marketing, operations, sales, finance and integration of all activities to achieve goals.
- Work with commercial marketing and the customer facing organization to determine optimal approach to IDEXX markets, strategy and annual budget.
- Responsible for implementation of growth strategy through new products, product enhancements and geographic expansion.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or relevant technical discipline.
- MBA preferred.
