As a Product Director, you will set the overall strategic vision forthe Core Finance and Taxproduct space and product team, including understanding the landscape of current technology, how trends will affect the product in the future, and how to communicate with technology teams to ensure they understand the business needs and objectives.You will play a significant role in the future design for how Target leverages SAP to enable critical capabilities, including the approach and timing for a significant upgrade to SAP S/4 HANA, as well as have the opportunity to leverage your creative skills in exploring new technology solutions for Tax capabilities.You will take the lead on:
You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product owners while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams. You will be responsible tobuild and develop a strong performing product management organizationwhile also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.
You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you leadhighly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties. You will leverage data to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your products and related P&L impacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.
You will leverage yourunderstanding of retail, finance,or similar area, relevant technologies and design principlesand expert problem-solving and relationship management skillsto drive innovative and scalable solutions across multiple pyramids within Target.
