Manage and coordinate all daily functions in the Patient Access Pre-Service department for the purposes of Insurance Verification and Pre-Registration. Provide quality service to patients, physician offices and ancillary departments across Norton Healthcare. Maintain and develop communication channels with associates through department meetings, email, and one on one counseling. Interview, hire and provide orientation and education to associates. Review and resolve conflicts, evaluate associate performance, ensure all performance metrics are met and or exceeded ensuring the needs of the Revenue Cycle are met. Stay consistent with all Federal and State requirements as it relates to Insurance verification, HIPAA and Payers.
Screening Requirements: Drug Screen, Background Check, License and Employment reference verification.
