Director, Practice Administrator General Internal Medicine Group
Job Description The director will be responsible for providing overall growth, leadership, marketing, administration and performance of all aspects of clinical activities by leading the conception, planning, development, and implementation of clinic business plans to the Board of Directors and acts as a member of the Board. Coordinates the monitoring of clinical activities with board members, medical staff, and other clinic personnel to ensure the fulfillment of the community's needs for quality healthcare. Oversees the business and financial affairs of the clinic and fiscal management including accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and timely reporting. Serves as a liaison and channel of communication between the board and its committees, the medical and administrative staff.
Requirements Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years' leadership experience with three years' experience in the administration of a large medical clinic, and development and oversight of ancillary services.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Health or Business Administration, and additional professional development courses in healthcare management. Must have the ability to assume responsibilities and exercise authority over assigned work functions, establish and maintain quality control standards, organize and integrate organizational priorities and deadlines, and prepare comprehensive reports.
