Selected Responsibilities:

  • Platform Landscape & Evaluation:
    • Regularly monitor current and emerging industry players.
    • Concisely map the ever-changing nature of video game participants.
    • Formulate data-led insights into near, medium, and long-term industry trends.
    • Maintain tools / databases around most important facts and figures across the sector.
    • Centrally filter, cascade, archive, and track relevant and important qualitative and quantitative information bilaterally, and across territories.
    • Serve as an internal “thought-leader” on what is occurring across various content platforms.
  • Strategy:
    • Identify and develop key strategic priorities that support our corporate multi-year goals.
    • Develop c-level materials to articulate strategic objectives and execution plans.
    • Define and drive opportunities to deliver incremental value for all existing contractual partnerships through close collaboration with both internal and external groups.
    • Develop presentations to drive alignment with senior leadership relating to strategic platform initiatives including emergent platforms and new opportunities.
  • Execution & Governance:
    • Collaborate and drive alignment across the global business units, marketing, studios, finance and commercial teams, production operations and legal and in close coordination with the head of the department.
    • Develop and lead the process to frame and review priorities on a regular cadence across all critical functions (commercial, sales and development) to inform executive action/decisions and drive results.
    • Through successful project management and collaboration with relevant departments, manage all commercial activity related to strategic initiatives.
    • Collaborate closely with the legal team to prioritize and memorialize agreements in contract form.

Player Profile

  • ·         Proven track record of building solid internal/external relationships.
  • ·         Prior experience framing industry trends or emerging factors.
  • ·         Strong communication skills, including stellar presentation skills with the capability to frame up complex strategic initiatives.
  • ·         Creative problem-solving skills and a high degree of entrepreneurial spirit.
  • ·         Highly organized and able to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects.
  • ·         Strong strategic/financial analysis skills and experience in reviewing and analyzing P+L reports and legal agreements.
  • ·         A critical thinker who can evaluate emerging trends and identify future opportunities within them.
  •  Comfort with high-level strategic thinking, and detailed oriented operational concerns.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relevant roles (e.g. entertainment, consulting, tech, content) working on commercial strategy and execution with proven ability to deliver results
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in a consulting, account management, or strategic roles preferred.
  • Passion for, and in-depth knowledge of the video games business is preferred.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
