About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced manager to lead our incredible Platform Engineering team, currently a team of nine. The Platform team builds a connected technical foundation that empowers teams at Cityblock to quickly build products, dashboards, and data-driven workflows for managing member care and business operations. In this role, you will manage, mentor, and motivate the team; you will help the team to produce and celebrate their best work. You will align the team with collaborators and stakeholders from across the organization (including engineering, product, clinical and market operations, data analytics, data science, and partnership with IT) to put the team in the best position to deliver high-value work. You will create a platform, security, and data engineering strategy that enables all other technical teams at Cityblock to be highly efficient, effective, while protecting our members and employees.
You must love engineering, engineering management, security, shared services, and working with others to get excited about the possibilities it creates. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and approach with others and act as an ambassador for platform work. This role includes working both inside the company and with our partners for owning security and platform understanding.
