Babylist is looking for an experienced Performance Marketing leader who can make us the number one baby registry in the US by scaling our paid acquisition efforts and experimenting with new growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is curious, driven, results-oriented, and has hands-on experience with Social Paid and Search Engine Marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with the VP of Marketing and our Acquisition Marketing Manager; you'll help Babylist scale its paid marketing efforts across multiple platforms
  • Manage over $5,000,000+ annual marketing budget
  • Support and coach our talented acquisition team
  • Handle tightly defined CAC and volume targets with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting against KPIs
  • Identify, test, and optimize the best performance marketing channels to drive ROI
  • Collaborate with our broader marketing and product teams on attribution models, analytics, audience segmentation, messaging, promotions, and retention tactics
  • Work closely with our acquisition manager and creative team, and oversee creative visual and messaging strategy

Who You Are

  • A hands on Acquisition or Performance Marketer who can do day-to-day account management for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and paid Social
  • An ROI-driven performance marketer who can read LTV, CAC, and volume data insights to build a sustainable and scalable growth model
  • Focused on results, and have a bias for action
  • Pride yourself on your creativity and willingness to try new things
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to define and execute projects independently
  • Detail-oriented and diligent with campaign management
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidates in San Francisco Bay Area are preferred

What You've Done

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Acquisition or Performance marketing (a MUST)
  • In-house, hands-on performance marketing experience is preferred
  • Experience in managing and building an in-house or external acquisition team
  • Experience managing $5,000,000+ annual performance marketing budget
  • Proven track record in hands-on Facebook, Pinterest, and Adwords campaign management
  • Extremely familiar with ROAS and ROI models to drive meaningful business growth
  • Can balance a data-driven methodology with user-first intuition
  • Believe exceptional organizational and teamwork skills are key to success
  • Proficient in Excel, and can manipulate and analyze data to come up with actionable insights
