Role Overview: How will this role have an impact?

This individual will identify, foster, and execute new partnerships that advance the mission and strategy of Signify Health. The role will require developing a programmatic strategy, approach and structure for launching partnerships on the Signify platform, establishing the foundations by which partnerships can be vetted, prioritized, operationalized, and scaled. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of business development, product and healthcare expertise to be able to construct partnerships that drive value to various cross-functional initiatives and product lines for Signify. The ideal candidate will be able to build and manage company relationships, foster and maintain a strong pipeline of partnership opportunities, and also work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to prioritize partnerships that will drive meaningful product acceleration, growth, and client value to the business. This individual will also develop and maintain a level of industry acumen, expertise of market landscapes, and be able to support strategic conversations with executive stakeholders.

This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Corporate Development.

Core Responsibilities: What will you do?

• Drive end-to-end partnership execution, including identifying, scoping, structuring, negotiating, and launching partnership arrangements that advance strategic initiatives and product strategy
• Develop partnership strategy and programmatic structure by which partnerships can scale on the Signify platform
• Establish and manage relationships both internally with key business stakeholders and externally with partner companies
• Collaborate and be a thought-partner with other business units and functions on build-buy-partner strategies
• Maintain a strong understanding of market landscapes through which Signify can partner, entailing ongoing market research and engagement with companies in the healthcare ecosystem
• Collaborate with broader corporate development team on deeper strategic partnership, investment and acquisition opportunities, being able to conduct deeper company diligence and financial modeling or operational analyses as needed

We are looking for someone with:

• BA or BS required / Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
• 5 – 7+ years’ experience in a partnerships role, business development, corporate development, or similar field; experience in consulting, banking, VC or private equity a plus
• Proven experience structuring, negotiating, and executing partnership arrangements
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and foster company relationships externally and internally
• Strategic mindset with deep solutioning / problem-solving capabilities
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects or pipeline opportunities simultaneously, meeting key deliverable deadlines and process milestones while managing various stakeholders
• Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to construct partnership rationale backed by operational, financial, or synergy analyses
• Deep understanding of deal terms and ability to structure and negotiate terms
• Sharp industry acumen, demonstrating and continuing to develop expertise and knowledge in the healthcare technology and services space
• Willingness to develop strong relationships with industry stakeholders
• Robust communication skills and executive presence, able to correspond effectively and present information succinctly to executive stakeholders
