Job Description:

We are seeking a high energy, driven, hands-on Partner Director with a strong technology background and a history of success interested in joining an innovative partner team with opportunities for significant career growth. This role will be responsible for building and driving sales and revenue through Global Strategic Integrators, boutique SIs, and other go to market partners within a defined geographical territory (Northeastern US and Mid-Atlantic regions). The Partner Director will recruit, enable, and engage a focused ecosystem of partners and develop and grow relationships around referral, reseller, and services opportunities, building strong, robust, lasting monetized relationships that will propel our partner program forward.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Report America’s Field Partner team leader, significant interaction and relationship with Area VP of Sales

  • Collaborate with Area Sales VP to drive, meet and exceed quarterly revenue goals by leveraging partners

  • Recruit, enable, and engage new and existing ecosystem partners – GSIs, Boutique and Regional SIs and technology consultancies.

  • Work cross-functionally with all levels of the Sales, Business Development and Marketing teams to ensure consistent branding, lead generation, and communications

  • Track record of partner sales quota achievement

Job Requirements:

The candidate must have prior experience of working as part of a partner and alliances team selling enterprise software and solutions. Specific expertise in the database, big data, and open source software market is highly desired. The ideal candidate will bring in prior relationships with a core, focused set of partners.

  • Minimum 10 years successful partnering and alliance experience for enterprise software and solutions

  • Current rolodex of partners specializing in “new age” cloud application creation/migration, digital transformations

  • Demonstrated ability to work in high growth, later stage technology company

  • Willing and able to travel, as required 50%

  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively at all levels of the Partner: executive, sales and technical

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills among a variety of audiences

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills

  • Exceptional leadership skills

  • Motivated, disciplined, and results oriented

  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Relationship building skills

  • Technical Bachelordegree plus MBApreferred.
