We are excited to announce we've been retained to hire a VP of Sales for a high growth industry leading cloud company in the Northern Virginia. This company has been successful and expanded organically over the past 5years but recently brought on external investments to fuel accelerated growth. This role could be a perfect fit for a Sr Director on the rise or a proven Executive that enjoys being hands on with sleeves rolled up.

Our client, an industry leader in cloud/mobile technology has innovated the Healthcare services space and needs a VP of sales to build and expand high performing sales teams in the Small and Mid-Market space.

This role requires a sales leader with experience building and scaling multiple inside sales teams in both small market as well as Mid-Market. We seek a dynamic hands-on leader who will plan and direct all aspects of the company?s sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong player coach management style with proven success hiring software sales executives and developing those reps to perform at a high level.

What You?ll Be Doing

Expand on the sales strategy and execute the sales planning with your sleeves rolled up. Lead all sales initiatives to drive rapid growth across different segments and industries. Other areas of ownership include:

  • Hire and build out sales teams, develop and manage sales executives through on boarding, and coach revenue contributors to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Assess current sales methodologies, Implement and execute all sales policies and practices, including incentive plans, rules of engagement, and territory alignment.
  • Train the sales organization to over perform versus just meeting quota.
  • Ensure a long-term competitive edge for the business through a value-added approach to prospects and customers.
  • Rolls up sleeves when appropriate, and is an active participant in the success of rep(s) Team(s).

 Skills And Experience

  • Minimum of 12years in software sales with 6years of sales leadership experience.
  • Previous experience building sales teams from the ground up is required.
  • Ideally, have a track record of managing sales team(s) between six and thirty six. Can hire rapidly but effectively.
  • Strong background building software sales teams. Ideally Mid Market and Small Market.
  • Analytical approach to sales and decision-making processes. Capable of assessing the company holistically.
  • Experience driving revenue of B2B SaaS products to medium-sized businesses.
  • History of scaling a sales organization and moving the ASP upstream.
  • Proven track record as a consistent top performing sales leader and leading sales team that exceeds revenue goals.
