Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement (A&M-CPI) is looking for director and manager level professionals with experience in mergers and acquisition integration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have energy experience and a background of leading ODD (operational due diligence), carve-out and acquisition integration work. 

Experience should include past leadership roles in one or more of the following:

  • Merger and acquisition integration planning and execution
  • Divestiture and carve-out planning and execution
  • Cost takeout
  • Operational Due diligence

Responsibilities

  • Manage entire or a focus area within the Integration Management Office (IMO) – Synergies, TSAs, Blueprinting, Day 1 Readiness, Executive Reporting, Integration Roadmap, Communications, Organizational Design
  • Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions
  • Provide interim functional management as required
  • Plan, execute and drive performance improvement in key areas:
    • Strategic planning
    • Operational optimization /consolidation
    • Back office consolidation
    • Supply chain
    • IT / reporting integration
    • Customer and channel management
  • Effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance
  • Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities

Qualifications:

  • 8-15years of professional consulting and operationalexperience, specializing in merger integration, business transformation, and change management
    • Energy, finance and accounting experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degreerequired, MBA a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Initiative and drive
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable with travel
