The Director of Operations oversees management of all areas within manufacturing and directs the daily activities to produce products on schedule in the most cost effective manner within quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage improvement in production output to achieve production goals
  • Assist in the planning process of long and short term policies programs and objectives
  • Analyze manufacturing process to develop staffing needed to meet production schedule and schedule work flow to meet output requirements
  • Establish, monitor and maintain performance measurement in yields, manpower and throughput
  • Direct and monitor department managers to meet manufacturing plan goals consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures
  • Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Able to exhibit a professional manner in dealing with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the company
  • Knowledgeable on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling and training
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the printed circuit board industry
