Responsible for the design, development and operation of the Oncology Program. Develops and implements business and strategic plans ensuring optimal delivery of clinical services and physician integration as well as successful financial performance. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives. Administratively responsible for the following departments of the Regional Cancer Center: Cancer Registry, Cancer Clinical Research, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Quality, Medical Imaging, Oncology Nurse Education, Infusion Room, and the Lung Cancer Clinic.
MSN, MBA, MHA or equivalent required or must be pursuing and obtained within 3 years of hire. At least five years of clinical experience in relevant hematology/oncology operational or management position.
If an RN, must have current RN licensure in the State of Illinois.

Ability to effectively interact, build consensus and mediate differences with all levels of staff within the organization and community.
