Director of UX Research and Design
This is a unique opportunity to join our rapidly growing company and build a UX Design and Research team from the ground up. You will work closely and collaboratively with the product team to create outstanding experiences for our patients and providers across Women’s health, Oncology and Organ Health. What you will be doing
- Recruit, manage and develop a world-class user design and research team
- Establish and enforce effective research processes that scale; Effectively communicate research findings and actionable, prioritized recommendations for product management, UX design, engineering, marketing and executive decision makers
- Balance qualitative and quantitative data to make user-centered design decisions
- Design UX/UI for all digital products, features and value propositions; Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into wireframes and flow
- Work with Product / Engineering to ensure design sprints are in sync with strategy and timeline
- Build a scalable, sustainable system for measuring and tracking user experience quality on our UX across releases to continually measure improvement and opportunities
We want to hear from you if you have
- 8+ years professional experience designing web and mobile applications, in a design team environment
- 4+ years of experience managing a UX design team
- Impressive portfolio you are very proud of
- Confidence in the breadth of research methods, including selecting the most appropriate methods for a given problem or question; You have conducted research yourself or worked very closely with research teams
- Experience collaborating with teams of designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers throughout the product development process
- Experience guiding teams who are iterating on products and services post-launch based on user data and insights
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, relationship-building, and analytical skills
- Proven success influencing leaders of product, design, and engineering
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to define, plan, and lead projects forward
- Experience with digital health products - desired but not required
