Responsibilities:

In this role some of your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the system-wide operations and management of the Utilization Review (UR) department.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the utilization review staff, ensuring standards of practice meet industry requirements.
  • Promotes effective utilization of resources through timely, reliable assessments and reviews to informed clinical decision making along the continuum of care, requiring a high level of leadership and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:

Experience and education minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Three years of leadership experience in managing nursing staff.
  • Five years of experience in Discharge Planning, Case Management or Utilization Review/Management.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
