Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer/VP Supply Chain, the Director of Supply Chain Management will lead and provide strategic leadership to teams responsible for order management, logistics, outside warehousing, forecasting, demand/production/materials planning, inventory control, and imports to optimize supply chain operations that support the business. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter and committed team player with strong verbal and written communications, project management and analytical skills, and demonstrated solid management and leadership capabilities. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

   Oversee development of Supply Chain vision and strategies to support the base business and future growth.

   Direct and oversee the activities of the Supply Chain department personnel. Leads, manages, and develops staff to maximize productivity and to maintain high team morale. Promote a positive team culture.

  Develop and implement strategies to improve order management processes, reduce supply chain costs, and drive continuous improvement.

  Identify and assess the impact of changing customer needs. Recommend and execute needed optimization.

   Develop and execute strategies for end-to-end pipeline management, including forecasting, demand planning, production planning, supply and materials management, and deployment.

  Oversee management of corporate procurement processes.

   Lead the S&OP process and ensure proper escalation for urgent matters across all relevant functions.

   Direct and oversee all aspects of logistics strategies including including establishing inventory targets and monitoring performance against those targets, warehousing/fulfillment, transportation, and customer service.

   Drive shared organizational KPIs and provide standard and ad-hocreporting to key stakeholders.


   Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred. 

  7-10 years? direct experience in supply chain management in food industry preferred. Bottling or canning a plus.

   Strong communication skills, both oral and written, together with solid presentation skills

   Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change

   Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive performance improvement initiatives; exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to turn findings into executable plans.

   Knowledgeable in supply chain best practices, trends, technology and information. E-commerceexperience a plus.

   Ability to influence, develop, mentor, and empower individuals and teams to achieve objectives.

Company is located in VERY desirable, rural low cost of living area in northern California, within an hour's drive of major cities.

Relocation is provided.

$150K - $170K
$150K - $170K base, excellent benefits + relocation bonus
