Job Description

We are seeking a Director, Strategic Programs to be at the forefront of our business growth. The Director will be leading high-impact, strategic engagements across the organization (e.g., go-to-market models and strategy, customer experience, pricing, product development). The Director will have significant responsibility for creating project fundamentals, such as work planning, designing and executing financial, sales, and marketing analyses, and business cases, developing recommendations for action, leading change management processes with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering presentations to internal, executive, and external audiences. The Director, Strategic Programs will be a member of the newly formed Strategic Programs Office, and will report to the VP, Chief of Staff.

What you'll be working on:

Strategic projects definition and planning

  • Partner with business leaders across the organization to define and implement strategic projects and transformation initiative(s) to support long range business objectives
  • Translate an integrated set of business priorities into an initiative framework
  • Oversee the design of research plans, business analyses, and discover insights from data to validate hypotheses or challenge status quo
  • Develop governance, reporting, communications, and operational policies for the initiatives to ensure alignment with overall transformation efforts

Strategic projects execution

  • Develop implementation strategies that address business requirements and engage appropriate teams that will deliver right outcomes
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on the progress of strategic projects including executives, team members, and others in the organization
  • Plan for and execute high quality change management throughout strategic projects

Cross-functional collaboration and people leadership

  • Provide leadership to major engagements on day-to-day problem solving and team management level
  • Become recognized both internally and externally as a key "go to"? consultant on sales, marketing, and service initiatives
  • Bring in deep functional expertise to every situation from internal/external sources and networks
  • Inspire, lead, and develop talent across the organization

Successful candidate typically have:

  • 2-5years of experience in consulting, sales, marketing, or related field with top tier consulting firm; comparable level at a consulting firm would be associate or project manager level
  • Proven track record of leading successful strategic engagements and demonstrated ability to design and execute high-quality work, both independently and in teams
  • IT or AV industry or practice area expertise in customer experience, global growth, SaaSbusiness models, product development is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, economics, or similar discipline from a top-tier school
  • MBA or other advanced degree from a top-tier school is a plus
  • Strong sense of ownership, and ability/desire to work independently
  • Expert communication, change management, and listening skills
