HNI Corporation, a leading workplace furnishings and hearth manufacturing enterprise, is looking for a new Director of Strategic Procurement to join their Leveraged Furniture Operations team in Muscatine, Iowa! In this role you will focus on Indirect Materials, providing strategic leadership to the indirect procurement organization to successfully execute all enabling activities including purchasing, sourcing, contracting, governance and communications. You will develop and implement organizational procurement policies and processes to ensure a consistent and standardized approach, enhancing collaboration, and continually prioritizing and driving implementation.
As a Director of Strategic Procurement, you will be a part of a highly visible team within HNI’s supply chain organization. You will enjoy significant team engagement and partnership with key members of the executive leadership team, as well as dynamic operational and business unit teams. This role will require a minimum of ten years of progressive procurement experience, including developing and directing processes and procedures for multiple categories, leading complex negotiations, providing effective communication for continuous team development.
