The Strategic Marketing Directors for OSF HealthCare System lead, plan, execute and report outcomes through the development of comprehensive marketing plans for the prioritized businesses of the organization. For the assigned priorities, the director is responsible for the business growth within the strategic management plans and therefore an integral part of the operational senior leader’s team such as a regional CEO, Ministry-wide service line SVP and/or an innovative business leader who runs an organization such as for the OSF Jump Trading Simulation & Education Center or risk-based patient memberships. Expertise in data utilization, market assessment, new product development and launches, marketing strategy, CRM, innovations in digital marketing, implementation and measurement to show tangible results of marketing initiatives is critical to the success of this leader. The director is an exceptional strategist who leads a team of marketing and public relations professionals and collaborates and communicates with operational business leaders, physicians leaders, business development, analytics, finance, clinical support and many other disciplines as well as a variety of outside business support and community leaders.
Bachelor's degree in one of these related fields: marketing, business, communications, public relations, journalism. Advanced degree preferred.
5 – 10 years professional experience
2 – 4 years leadership experience through indirect or direct reports
Strong analytic skills with particular emphasis on data analysis and CRM experience.
Computer aptitude and knowledge of information resources available for analysis including a strong working knowledge of Excel, marketing planning tools and financial systems.
Exceptional project management & organization skills with the ability to balance multiple projects.
Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills
