POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, Strategic Accounts is responsible for supporting the organization?s business objectives for the assigned division(s) by setting objectives and overseeing the visit strategies to the top accounts in each territory. This position will execute the outside sales process, set-up in person visits and make presentations to prospects. The Director, Strategic Accounts may oversee a team of Regional Business Development Managers who will work with the Director to set up and execute impactful meetings and communicate the results of those meetings to the Account Managers, Recruiters and executives of the organization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop and maintain long term business relationships through monthly calls and in-person client visits
  • Ensure the quality of the client manager database information through follow-up calls and correspondence
  • Gather organizational information such as consultant usage trends, prior consultant bill rates, high demand skills, upcoming projects
  • Educate and exchange market data with client managers
  • Generate consultant assignment opportunities with new and existing client managers
  • Assist client managers in defining their consultant needs and skills
  • Determine the consultant?s project assignment start and end dates
  • Establish contract and credit terms with the client manager working in conjunction with Account Management team
  • Ensure quality customer service by resolving all issues pertaining to a consultant?s employment
  • Regularly audit client manager?s usage to ensure you are working with managers who are planning consultant usage
  • May oversee a team of Regional Business Development Managers
  • Ensure managers are trained on how to set up meetings with clients and prospects
  • Introduce managers to the Account Management teams in other divisions to collaborate on visit strategy
  • Set regional monthly, quarterly and yearly objectives and ensure managers are measured against these objectives
  • Train and educate on CRM system and set up template for Regional quarterly reviews
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelors degree in business required
  • 7 +years temporarystaffingexperience in the Engineering or Software/Hardware space. 
  • Experience developing new business territories and track record of working independently
  • Prior staffing industry experience in the transportation industry (Automotive or Avionics) highly desired
  • Strong ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills is a must
  • Creative, outgoing, energetic person with a demonstrable track record of exceeding goals
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven knowledge of MS Office products.
