POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for planning and managing projects of moderate to medium complexity, including planning, execution, scheduling, definition of product functionality, and cost/budget development and tracking, under the direction of the COO/Administrative Team. The Director of Operational Support and Projects Management will work with Hospital Management to define a project’s objectives and scope; work across the organization to acquire resources and form project teams; estimate project schedule and costs; manage the work of team members and third-party contractors, consultants, and vendors, to deliver products and services according to plan, schedule, and budget. The Director of Operational Support and Projects Management will oversee non-clinical projects from initiation, to development of the defined results, and through deployment of the product, including turnover to the appropriate systems support and user support.
Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.
Minimum of three years management experience in the healthcare setting, preferably acute care hospital. 3 years of experience in a project management role, preferred Experience in changing healthcare processes preferred (i.e. participation on quality improvement team. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
