The Director of the Solutions Consultant team is to support the effective scaling and growth of our sales efforts by increasing and supporting our technical sales capabilities. Success will come from effectively leading a team of Solutions Consultants while coordinating cross functional dependencies across AvidXchange. This leader will play an instrumental role in working in a cross functional environment both internally and externally.They will partner closely with internal stakeholders such as: Readiness/Training, on boarding/implementation, product management, product marketing, marketing, client success, and others. External stakeholders include VARS, accounting system partners, bank channel partners, and others, that are tied to our technical requirements in our sales process. The result will be delivery of clear expectations of how our offerings work and "client promises" that AvidXchange can deliver on, driving moreclosed/won business, and very low defect rates at the point of on boarding.
Duties and responsibilities
Develop and lead a high performing team that includes responsibility for multiple product solutions, executing technical aspects of prospect discovery, or with existing customers, executing and improving product demonstrations, being subject matter expert(s) on the capabilities of our solutions, on boarding and success experiences.
Provide a great learning and buying experience for customers and partners resulting in
high conversion and net promoter scores.
Utilize Salesforce.com to manage leads and capture important Voice of the Customer
learning's and where we win and where we lose
Professionally represent AvidXchange and all of its offerings. This includes the ability
to create customer excitement by showing customers how to use AvidXchange

Dynamic leader capable of leading a team of 10 to 20 solutions

Technical capabilities include the ability to use and demonstrate a
customer integrated usage experience with accounting systems and other AP
Able to work well cross functionally and lead change
Technically capable of using and demonstrating AvidXchange solutions
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, economics, or the equivalent/similar
7 to 10+ years' experience in SaaS technical sales leadership, technical development, technical consulting, and/or combination thereof
SaaS sales/customer facing experience, as an individual contributor, prior to the previous technical sales management experience highly desired
Ideally, experience with accounting system usage, setting technical requirements, and/or accounting system integration experience required.
