Director of Sales
The ideal candidate will manage a team of sellers and lead all sales efforts in the Lafayette market. The DOS will be responsible for building and leading the sales staff in generating revenues on our radio stations, on line radio products, digital initiatives, programmatic and event sales. This person will work closely with the Market President to create unique and valuable cross platform investment campaigns for our advertising customers.The position requires a minimum of three years management experience and strong leadership/interpersonal skills with the presence to lead and grow revenues in all areas.

In Lafayette, our brands are iconic with the largest audience of any media group in South Louisiana. We’ve consistently placed three stations in the top 5 in all major dayparts in the Adults 25-54 demo. We have the largest cumulative audience of any cluster in the market and offer customized solutions to local business owners with on-air, on-site and on-line products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Manage, recruit and hire top notch account executives
  • Support, inspire, coach and train
  • Spend a majority of time (75%) with sellers in face to face calls in and around the area
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans (including various media) to achieve revenue goals
  • Direct forecasting and set and hold account executives accountable in achieving their goals
  • Manage the station’s account list to maximize results
  • Follow through commensurate with Corporate, Regional and Local standards of performance
  • Monitor and evaluate activities of each seller individually and as a whole
  • Be a key member of the Market Leadership Team


  • Must have 3 years of sales and management experience with a proven successful track record
  • In depth knowledge of media including radio and digital products 
  • Must have a successful track record and experience in consultative selling
  • Must be able to develop written proposals and have high command of verbal presentation skills
